The whole star ideo sounds like one of the N64 Mario Game with the doors...
Though some sort of ranks would be nice. Because If I was a good player, (which I'm not but hell, I like pretending I am) I'd hate to have to go around nitpicking at all the Newbies to find a player that's on the same level as me (and just because I'm a Newbie to the forum, doesn't mean I'm a newbie to the game so that really doesn't count much either)
Doesn't even have to be made into the system, maybe just a special way of telling. Perhaps with the Secret songs? You can say I'm a "Luna level", because that's the farthest I've gone. Aren't those based on credits and scores? I'd say it'd be simple enough to base on credits, but with all the trading and buying, you really couldn't tell a great player with it after they gave it to someone else or perhaps lost a big bet. I'd say with scores, but any person can have a high score by only playing the easy level a billion times...
