ok, I think it is fair and ok to tell everyone since we will at some point soon complete this feature. It is a definate that it will be included in .67 when we finish the last bits of development and bug testing.
So what is it? Well check out the screenshots below. It is indeed a challenge mode for FFR that allows you to issue a challenge and bet credits with any other player or even someone not part of the system. It is going to be highly integrated and automated.
Challenges can even be sent to an email address and a special "challenge code" will be generated for that person to enter once they login.
Challenges sent to people within the system will be automatically received when they enter the game. It will notify them with information and let them respond and play the challenge or send a message back to the person challenging them.
Check out the development screenshots. They can help you imagine it a little more. Those are early development screenshots and will not mimic the exact look of this feature in the game. It will does give you a more clear idea. The challenge is not in realtime but it is secure and it is effectively a non-realtime multiplayer implementation of FFR. Hopefully I have explained myself clear... And don't think that development of this feature will stop with .67. We have lots in the works *cough* realtime *cough*.
Cheers,

This feature will finally let people put money where their mouth is and participate in 1 on 1 challenges. No worries about faked screenshots or other crap. This system will tell it like it is.
