Which is easier? FFR or SM.

What do you think is easier, FFR or SM? Not song wise but to hit an arrow or to get Perfect timing. I would say FFR.

Side Topic - Well, I subscribed for FFR and now I don't even really play SM. I used to never play FFR but now I do lots. Here's the problem. I SUCK AT SM NOW. I can;t combo, I can't MA, I can't AAA, I'm really pissed off. Has this happen to anyone else?

SM, b/c it doesn't have jack syndrome, and it has a lot more fps, plus noteskins on all songs and any speed mods you want.

Edit: but FFR does have a larger timing window to get a perfect.

Edit2: It's still very, very much easier to AAA the same song in SM as compared to in FFR.

Point taken. But I can mash in FFR and in SM I keep thinking that I miss because it doesn't make the arrow go away unless I get a perfect or marvelous.

FFR has a rly big timing window. plus only 3 judgment levels.

I used to barely ever play FFR and only SM. I could about AAA really really hard songs. And now I've been playing FFR ALOT MORE AND NEVER SM. I'm actually quite mad now because I am very very very very bad at SM now. I like get a bunch of greats and miss alot and I'm just about screwed. I think I have to pick one side. FFR or SM. FFR, I'm stickin' with you.

You can't say one or the other is easier without explaining which scenarios you're talking about. It's easier to mash combo in FFR, but harder to PA combo in FFR. It's easier to pass songs in FFR, but harder to AAA songs (because of both jack syndrome shrinking the timing window of perfects and also the approximation in sync'ing each step arising from low FPS). Comparing two identical files, one in SM and one in FFR, the file in FFR would probably be harder. FFR doesn't have any songs that are as hard as guru-level SM songs, though. SM, I'd have to say, is harder overall, as players are expected to have more accuracy, more speed, and more jacking ability than one would ever need to be decently good at today's FFR. I'm also much better at FFR than SM; i'd say it takes longer to get good at SM. yeah...SM gives you more customizable in-game options, but it also takes more precision.

SM is definitely easier... More speed choices, and it seems to be really easy on faster songs and jack syndrome... NO INTERNET LAG!!! I can play SM on the crappiest computer and it still works Personally I think that SM is easier a lot cuz you can just set it to the speed you need.

EDIT: Just cuz FFR has jack syndrome doesn't mean it's impossible.. I've FCed songs like x-dreamer and crystalisis.. (don't laugh.. I'm kinda a noob at FFR ) and on SM it just gets easier.
