ok i'm not sure how this thing works
so the score we get on the songs (the rank) is recorded
then the average of all the ranks is taken and then that's how we get this average rank?
because if that's so, then i'm screwed
my ffr sometimes screws up (the song doesn't load and i have to kill myself so i end up with -50 for a score or the song is not in sync with the arrows)
but that is how it works, right?
it took me till page 4 to come up with what i have

I think what you're saying is correct.

It's based on your best rank on each song added up, then divided by how many songs there are. If you still don't get it, you should be able to figure it out from this: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/levelrank.php

I haven't played all the songs yet, considering I am still 1000 credits away from buying the last song from the store. 35000 credits to go before I can even dream about playing all of the songs.

my prob is...i hate playing 3:00 + beginner - standard songs, thats why my average rank is high. maybe ill play em someday, hopefully cause with like 3 ranks over 20,000 i still have 300~ average

I'm not a subscriber but just from looking at the levelrank page.. One could assume LD took off subscriber songs completely, which would mean I could just combine everyone into one list.

I'll get this clarified and we'll see what happens by the next update.
