Mashing is a skill. If it wasn't EHHS wouldn't be my second worst song. I suck at mashing.

I'd say mashing takes some skill, depending on how you look at it. To mash Pants, you need endurance and speed, to mash EHHS, you need to stop at the right time and start at the right time, etc.

Mashing is a skill. Otherwise, everyone would be able to pass blur speedy mix. Some people just can't mash fast enough for it.

Button mashing is one of the skills.

Combined with the accuracy skill and the speed skill, it works fine.
If you only have mashing skill, it would be horrible.

I only button mash when its a 16th stream unless i am able to read it, which is not common, but not rare. So i am a button masher. So i am a button masher? So i am a button masher!

i button mash songs like pants and lawn wake vl but i dont think button mashing is a skil because any one can do it

Dude, its stepfiles like this that makes me think whoever made these files was just throwing out steps for no damn reason. Most of those arrows do sync with the song or mix in with it. Thats what I thought when I played the Dj sharpnel songs. But I learned how to read it and got better in FFR with it.

I personally hate songs that you have to button mash, and most of these are in master's only catagory or Guru. call me a noob if you want, but those songs are just to tireing and personally, theres is obvieously skill invovled if you can either button mash really good or be able to read the arrows really well.

Button mashing songs are just terrible if you dont know how to read the arrows well or you cant mash well... Just stay away from them unless you want to learn how to read em...

Even in songs that pwn me to death, I do my best not to button mash. Whether it makes you a better player or not, I consider it dishonorable.
