Double posting, skill or no skill?
Me personally, I think if you have to double post, you have no skill at forums. But then I was thinking to myself that if you can double post in your first 3 posts then you are pretty stupid. You know what I mean? Tell me what you think.Comment

Re: Button mashing, skill or no skill?
Yes, I agree. So do most people.
Button mashing is no way to go about the game. There is no skill to it.
I can beat Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star with my eyes shut if I mash. It takes no skill at all.
skill is in accuracy - which is why most people ask for how many goods/misses you have rather thatn your score/comboComment

Re: Button mashing, skill or no skill?
Chickendude brings up a point, but there are some songs like Balloon Fever that are tougher to mash than others. Because they have less notes at one time, you have to narrow down what buttons you mash, thus taking skill. If you don't, then you lose the level, and you fail at mashing.
Basically, there is a SMALL degree of skill, but mostly, it's skilless. Anybody can mash, it takes a small amount of skill to mash well.
Double posting takes no skill by the way.Note to self Finish.Comment

Re: Button mashing, skill or no skill?
Let me put it this way...
In regard to combo, the goal is to hit the target. It doesn't matter where.
Since the target is moving, let's just say it's a fast-flying bird of some sort.
Normal play - Rifle
Mashing - Long-barrel shotgun
Tell me which takes more skill to use.
That being said, I rest my case.Comment

Since the target is moving, let's just say it's a baseball.
Normal play - Baseball bat
Mashing - Tennis Racquet
Tell me which takes more skill to use.
That being said, I rest my case.
