Re: R^3 OT Edition Release
is 55/59 still optimal fps on this or does it not matter? also is there a way to get the perfects to stop disappearing once notes start coming in faster?

Originally posted by LeKrispyKremeRap music is music. However, It's not in the traditional sense of how we understand music. The vocals are filled with slangs that gangs used since the 70s and a lot of the instrumentations are replaced with "Street Sounds" instead of traditional instruments. Music is defined as any combination of sounds that is pleasing to the ear, so while one person may find it as "noise" another person can find it pleasing to the ear and so call "vibe" with it as how I think the kids would say it these days.Comment

Optimal framerate is whatever works best for you. Animation playback is at framerate, so accuracy plays back super fast.Comment

Re: R^3 OT Edition Release
inability to resize is definitely a deal-breaker for me on this build, which is a shame...
not sure if i'm an isolated case or if this is intentional - there seems to be a strange behavior in tweening for judgment feedback for amazing/perfect judgments; instead of restarting the animation for a given judgment, it seems to proceed through tweening even if a judgment changes and doesn't reset unless the next note is a respectable distance away.
this is particularly distracting at the start of streams because a quick sequence of alternating amazing/perfect judgments at the start of a stream gives you no different feedback and continuing to hit notes in a fast enough interval keeps the judgment hidden until you get a judgment that is lower than a perfect.
edit: this behavior also exists with averages as well - if you stream constant averages, the judgment disappears and will not reappear until you get a different judgmentLast edited by TC_Halogen; 08-7-2019, 08:35 PM.Comment

Re: R^3 OT Edition Release
Forgot to post here, but a new version with lots of fixes and ability to scale is coming tonight.
The accuracy animation thing is a lot more work to fix and is a known issue, yeah. It's related to the framerate that it's set to, and has always been an issue.Last edited by Zageron; 08-7-2019, 08:37 PM.Comment

Re: R^3 OT Edition Release
holy shit, low key 250 framerate actually works. Tried it on my desktop and so far no issues. I had 5g until the long OHT on FotBB and ive never done that before lmao
EDIT: Btw, this is with the new update. Its not perfect, but it does feel really smooth and definitely playable.
MA feels a bit better, too
