When I played it, it took a few songs for most of the lag to go away. Also, one weird thing, my ranks on a song didn't show up under my avatar on the score display. They didn't show up at all.

i had to find out the refresh rate of my monitor, turn on vsync, and match the in game framerate to that and wow all lag is gone

if you have to find out the refresh rate you probably have 60hz since its like a shitload more expensive for 144hz but damn its good ur game runs good now

most, if not all, antivirus programs let you create exceptions. put air in it's own folder and make the folder an exception

oh sick, fullscreen version. why of course i'll download it now

also after a bit of testing, the old 59 FPS trick doesn't work. it lags there. however, setting to 250 FPS makes it the smoothest FFR i've ever played in my life. hats off to the dev team.

yeah wow 250fps works wonders. i thought i'd just stick with regular air at 59 but this is buttery smooth

I was going to try something like this but it randomly worked the third time i tried it. Not sure if the devs fixed it or if my comp just decided to cooporate lol

Any helpful tips/tricks to help me stream FFR on Twitch without the massive lag spikes due to streaming the game?

Even playing the OT Edition still results in massive lag spikes when I try to stream and play.

Can always try to lower the bitrate at which you stream. You can find it in your output settings.

can anyone please help me get the air engine to work? i downloaded the link in the OP and downloaded adobe AIR and when I try to open the R3Air application I get a message that the application requires a version of AdobeAIR which cannot be found. then it provides a link to adobe.go.com/getair which i downloaded again (also uninstalled and reinstalled) and if i try to install again it says "This Vesion of Adobe Air is aleady installed on your system"

really not sure what to do but any help would be appreciated

What version u got?

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0 and right click > properties > details on adobe air.dll

Not sure why but I can no longer use air. Everytime I re download it, it says it's not secure and gets rid of it. Says it's a virus lol.

sounds like u got shitty antivirus software and/or security settings
