I suppose so, but that creates another problem. You've gotten into the habit of being off beat in certain parts of certain songs. When they fix the problems in a future release and everything's more in rhythm and on beat, you'll be off. You have to break the habit you developed in the earlier releases and that might not be so easy to do. Unfortunately, there's not much way around it. If you want to do good now you have to adapt to any slightly off beat arrows and patterns you find. If it's fixed later, you can worry about it then. I think we are all happy to have what we do, but that doesn't mean we can't give suggestions for improvement, does it?

Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

Maybe then play some songs without music on and then tap the keys and for good steps you put music on and tap to the rhytym...

Appreciate what you have man, so what if a few steps are off? Not all of them are, the music is good. After a while you'll get used to the tapping and offbeat. That's why I'm not good in most songs and only am in songs I play frequently. I want to thank all the staff for actually making ffr possible, it is an awesome game.

Also Spazzbite is right, I want to see you try and make your own game. Host it without getting any profit, paying so much money for the server. Get good songs and step them. Make a full-screen version. Once again man, Appreciate what you have.
That is like eating any piece of food you can get just because you should be thankful that you have food at all. I don't eat food I don't like, but I am thankful that I have food. Not eating the food I don't like doesn't make me not-thankful.

It's like buying every piece of artwork you can just because you couldn't have made something better yourself, even if you don't like the art. It's like settling for a crap-for-crap computer just because you should be thankful that you have a computer at all.

You get me? It doesn't make sense.

Chardish, don't tell me that I need to be "less critical". People like Arch0wl can agree with me that back in January and February 2003, very VERY few people complained about the game itself. I have respect for how far this game has come since I first played it, but almost nobody on here actually understands exactly how little there was on FFR a year and a half ago. If you don't like something, don't play it. If you're going to complain about something, use constructive criticism. Bitching doesn't help, and it gets on people's nerves.

There are plenty of able stepfile artists that could remake the steps to a lot of songs on FFR. When R2 is released, you could have both the redone and classic stepfiles available for play. I definitely don't think there should be any bad/classic steps without a redone version. The standards for stepfiles now have to be much higher.

I trust R2 will turn out all right. I wouldn't worry too much. Whether the bad stepfiles stay or not, I'm sure there will be plenty of higher quality stepfiles.

That's true... thank you Privateer for being one of the only people to take this seriously.
