There are a fair amount of lower level players on the DF team who may struggle to get tier points, and I was considering creating a lower-level tier set just for the DF members.
Yeah, but peoplep would be posting several scores are one and yada yada, and if you get behind people will yell at you to update... its a nice idea, but having to play harder songs to get requirements puches people to get better.

Kmay, that's the point AJ was making. The lower level players can try the harder stuff, but may not be able to do them. With his list, it provides them with alist at the mid-levels so they can improve THOSE and improve their skill BEFORE jumping into the true TP list.
It's a rather good idea..
Take it from me personally..
The One Hander thread from back in the day with Bynary is the whole reason I'm capable of competing and getting actual Tiers now.. before I'd never even had a chance.
Kinda like a magnet for competition =]]
I say go for it!

Also, +1 for that.
I'm not sure about that, If I was only trying to aim for AAAing songs that are just barely out of my range (most level 10s) I wouldn't be improving by AAAing them. Most people here can already AAA 8's and some 9's. They need to push themselves against the FMO's to improve at a faster rate.

Improve at a faster rate? Um, no. If you can't read that stuff, then replaying it won't help. Playing easier stuff and learning those patterns and learning to read slower and easier stuff is the first step towards the FMOs.
What you're thinking is good for D3 and above. Anyone below that can use this to help A LOT.

I guess this is true, but I just don't see AJ keeping up with it, or anyone else for that matter. Also, would this be just for members in DF or for the entire site, because most of DF is higher D2/high D3 at least. We only have a few people that are stuck down there, and if we open it to the whole site, It would become chaos. You guys probably don't understand. While it is a good idea, the upkeep would be strenuous and added frustration to AJ or whoever he chooses to update it.
I'm good enough to AAA like 25% of the FMOs, but I wouldn't win in D1, which is why I've stopped playing now.. I can't deal with this lag I have, and I can't resolve it. I've tried everything.
