I tried listening to the other AKHT songs in the RAYDRIC album but I couldn't hear anything that would make any good transitions besides the two I mentioned earlier. I don't know what I can do about that.

AIM or MSN me sometime if you want to hear the two songs.

I expected Cyanite's J-Core Revolution sim to be boring, seeing as how even I probably couldn't keep it interesting for 25 minutes or however long it is. I don't know if I even want to try stepping it.

If we agree on fusing RAYDRIC and Fly Away together, and I step that, I can tell you now that it wouldn't be an extremely hard file. A lot of it would be pretty easy. Maybe even easier than MAX Forever (for some parts), but it would be a nice, quality file which is what you're looking for.

You have to be kidding me... what was boring about J-Core? The songs changed constantly, the rhythms weren't too repetitive..

You said you wanted a song similar in difficulty to Max Forever. Something FCed without difficulty. That's what I concentrated on. For 25 minutes. Then you go and tell me the file that I spent 2 hours a day on for 2 weeks is going to be rejected because of boredom?

God damnit. This file has no chance, then?

And go ahead and ban me for this post but honestly, you didn't even give me feedback about the file. I'd rather have gotten a message on AIM of you saying "it's boring" than find out about it in a random side conversation in this thread.

++Tip: Even 5 minutes of Sharpnel can be boring. His songs usually are, and it's hard to step out repetitive songs uniquely.

Oh for god's sake shut up about sharpnel. You can't generalize the musical qualities of EVERY song by Sharpnel based off of other files made under the artist.

There might be a few songs that are boring under Sharpnel, but again, that's all opinion based. In my experience very little is repetitive by them (there are exceptions. 20031023, Samurai Hardbeat and Pants to name a few off the top of my head), but that doesn't make everything by them unsteppable.

"Boring" may be opinion based, but "Repeats the same ****ing sounds for 16 measures in a row" is a very concrete thing.

no... the file wasn't THAT boring (i still haven't actually played it. will do that this week)... the SONG is boring.

ok... so this is getting ****ing ridiculous. how many times have i stated that i need a folder inside the zip/rar. and the folder name needs to be: "song name (ffr username)"

NEEDS your username in the folder name. NEEDS the folder. DOES NOT need the artist in the folder name (but it still needs to be in the .dwi artist data).

also, i want it in the EXACT format listed above... as opposed to any other variation.


and i mention this... because i've gone through about 20 songs for this new batch, and the ONLY person to even come close to following the format that i'd like is BLAZZE. and even his is wrong. nobody else has even included their username, and a few didn't include a folder.



for future batches, if you don't include a folder, i will not accept it. i'll send you an email requesting the correct format.


and it isn't like this information is not listed.
