tell me WHY its not queue worthy, its completely on beat, only problem is its mostly yellows, and I don't know how to use the beat offset, if I fixed that and the jacks would it be any better?

my comments on MOONEARTH... still don't have shash's comments though.

and yea... i played like 1 minute of the file and then quit out. all those things wrong were in the 1st minute.













also, some big news in the queue/batch world:

Shash and I are taking on an apprentice! Welcome jimerax onto the team. More than anything, this is to help me in the long run to have more time to dedicate to other parts of the site. It won't reduce Shash's turnaround at all.

-still send me all files
-i'll still compile them into the batch
-will send them off to shash and jx for testing (i will no longer be testing every file)
-they will comment and grade each file and send me their comments/grades
-i'll compare the two and write up final comments for all non-queue songs
-i will test each song that at least one of them queues, and will have the final say.... but will certainly discuss any queue-type file with both parties to try and get all 3 of us in agreement


hopefully this will
a. reduce overall time between updates
b. result in better quality control on files that make it into the game

also, every shash file must be approved by jx and me. every jx file must be approved by shash and me. all files need a minimum of 2/3 rating it queueworthy, with preferably all 3... and also preference to files where all 3 queue it.

Shashelfoot doesn't provide deep feedback into files. If you want to know why your file sucks try getting an experienced stepfile artist to test it. Though... I doubt you will be able to find anyone good that is willing with a reputation like yours.

Just play the songs in the game, compare them to yours and voila. Obviously if all the notes are yellow that would be fine if all the other songs in the game were full of yellow notes. But they're not.

EDIT: Omg sick idea. If Daman's file EVER gets accepted, make it a skill token that he won't be able to get

Tass should make a list on here of all files he alone feels are queue-worthy, just to get everyones hopes up so shash can shoot them done by denying every last one of them
