What's going on in here? How am I owned? You say I want some arbitrary bold orange text, and twist my words saying I'm owned because I posted that I wanted to get a file in-game and contribute something worthwhile to the community - to be someone in the community, and so others can enjoy my work.

no offense but,

having a title under your name with a color 100 other people have doesn't make you 'someone' in the community. being an active poster, socializing with a lot of the regulars, and helping the community out in other ways outside of simfile creation is the route to go.
