V2 of the D4 rivalry
Doug has decided to go a different way in life, but the D4 rivalry he started will continue. Original thread here.
What's going on here?
We're tracking general improvement of D4 players in a competitive environment. If you'd like to join in let us know. We have a number of active players all over the spectrum of D4. (The participant list will be edited soon)
What you as a rivalry member should do:
1) Play the week's assigned songs.
2) Submit a screenshot or replay of the song.
3) Improve your scores on the songs to try to snag the best score on the song that week.

Details:
1) This is a Raw Score zone. Raw Scoring will be used. FC something? That's great for levelranks. FCing stuff with a clean PA is better for showing improvement as a player.
2) New scores only.
3) Six songs will be selected from suggestions, or randomizing when we don't get enough songs. Songs for the week will be posted sometime on Fridays. The weeks end at 11:59 pm server time on Fridays. The songs selected will be between the difficulties of 57 and 80. An amount of care will be taken to not have duplicates for a reasonable time.
4)Points will be given as the person getting the best score on the song 12 points. The second best scorer will receive 10 points, 9 points to the 3rd best, (points will be awarded for 4th through 9th in the same fashion), and from 11th on, they will receive one point.
Important Notice About Points: Points will not be awarded to those who haven't submitted on all 6 songs of the week. This is to make points have a better general representation of the player's hopefully improving skill.
5) Participants may eventually be asked to leave due to their skills improving, I like to call it Graduating. It likely won't be sudden.
6) A prize pot has been added. Every week the pot will be distributed among the participants. The credit amount they receive will be equivalent to the percentage of the total points awarded they have received. Anyone may donate to the pot.
