How about none of those silly stuff and just remove the points total and just have the weeks won and use that as the main point system...

So that people other than the top three people can compare to each other too, that's why I suggested it in the first place.

I think I'd rather get rid of the "Weeks Won". The point totals do a lot of talking on their own so I don't think "weeks won" is necessary. I do like the point milestone idea, but we would need a graphics person (unless people love the look of stuff made in Paint).

Changing the points system was something that would happen if the points were going to be used for something other than general comparison between participants. It doesn't seem like the few vocal people are interested in quirky uses for the points. I'm not going to change the way points are totaled under the current circumstances.

Second to last opinion question of the week: Should the point totals carry over from previous weeks or do we start with fresh point totals this week? Please PM me your vote.

Last opinion question: Songs for next week should be suggested. I'm pretty sure pants was suggested already. That means we need 5 more songs. I believe that's all I have to say right now.

We've already done two of those previously. Do we really want to do them again so soon? I think it's way too early.

As for the whole points thing, I've never really cared too terribly much about them. I'm mainly here just to compare scores and to stay motivated to keep playing this game and get better.

I'm not going to change the way points are totaled under the current circumstances.

It is better to give extra points for gaining 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
That still works for a comparison between players, but also gives incentive to get higher rankings on songs.

In my opinion it is fine to do just the tournament thing once in a while, and be done with everything. There also tend to be many players willing to donate credits, so there would also be no problem there.

If you want to have people be able to spend points on songs, then make the price around 100 points, and make it so that 30% of credits over 100 will degrade every week. There can be an additional price of 100 credits to revoke someone's pick.

If you do that, just save up people's points every week, and make a monthly tally or so.
An overall tally of points is meaningless because of skillboosts in-between.
You should be able to automate most of this.

50,000 credits I think? I wouldn't recommend Pants either way... I think Gunkienen would be a better choice haha.
