I think his personality (the dressing up) turned Simon off. We all know after 4 seasons that he doesn't like silliness even in the slightest degree.

I'm somewhat disappointed with Chicago's auditions, but as in past years, we didn't get to see all the good ones. On a high note, we do have a finalist from Naperville. Many of you should know the significance behind that. Still, I'm also disappointed that I didn't see anyone from Burbank, Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, or even god-awful industrial Bedford Park. Somebody a bit closer to home, especially for auditions in Chicago, would've been nice.

How about that crazy guy in the end that they put through, eh? The judges did themselves in like they did with Hung. He's gonna end up getting commercial deals, end up on morning shows, etc. What a joke.
