I feel productive. Time to share some music!

Righto, I have 4 songs prepped and ready. I wanted to make these songs newgrounds exclusive atm.. But I just realized, I can only upload 2 songs per day. Sucks to be productive I guess..

Anyways, the first two I have right here:

I kind of went back to the good old Unreal Tournament Game of the Year edition (good old 2003 orso), played it again.. and used that music as inspiration. You will figure that one out when you listen to these tracks

Personally, I have nothing against FL. Fruity loops works nice, when you have the right VST's to supports it. Other then that, if I would have a complexed production as I have posted, I would definitly get lost...

(but then again, other reason users might get lost inside my productions aswell )

But anyways, I am posting for a reason.

I will just resume my course... Since part 3 and Part 4 have been finished... Part 5 is undergoing a final mix down (and part 5 is even blowing my socks off) and part 6 is in the early stage of development...

Ok, part 3 goes really low in bass tones... for some reason it sound very.. ehr, distorted when converted to mp3. But ok, I just don't care... I made it for 44Khz as Wav format... So, sucks to be mp3 I guess:

The next one is a bit more towards drum and bass.. and probably not something what you would really 'hear' in the unreal universe. But then again, some Hydlide dust should work so now and then...

And personally, this part is tha stuff that keeps me going. I am going to have a real hard time to compete with myself once again.

Anyways, just to get some inspiration left and right I came across nubbins submittions... Really dude! You think my sounds are awesome?! I am ****ting my pants of your drum sequences!

So... Just because I got scared because a series of 'mistakes' (really.. Love em to bits! I have also jacked into your myspace account to listen to some tunes), I thought... lets pay some more attention to the drum sequences some more...

Ok, this is just the drum... but.. ehr.. I will not spoil everything yet... things will hopefully become a bit more interesting. I just have a thing on creating 'unreal' music right now. I just hope it just sticks while I have this 'productive mood switch' on "ON" and not on "ByPass" (just to use a Reason term )

By now I will slow things down a bit... I have a crap load of work that needs to be done (coding stuff)... but in 3 days... I have my holidays comming up... Meaning: 3 weeks of creating music non stop and drink beer while at it! I can't wait!

Right.. Weekend has started once again... Ehr, scratch that.. Holidays have started for me Which means I have 3 weeks off... And I have probably 3 weeks of reasoning in my mind right now

Anyways, yesterday evening I kind of finished up a dull simple repetative trancy kind of tune. Since I was already boozed up, I felt like listening to something like this over and over again... and for some reasoning, I didn't change much inside the song itself...

Its refered as a 'chilling' song (hence the subtitle). I just wanted to lay back, see a GattlingGun in front of my eyes and shoot people with it while the tune just went easy on me...

Part 8 is the results of that

Other then that, on sunday I have started a whole side project... Which kind of overlapped with part 5. You will probably recognize certain rhythmic effects being the same, either some sounds being the same... No wonder... Some songs are written at the same time phrase, and you get those.

The only real thing I like about the next track, is that most of it has been written while sitting in the train to work. And other then that, each time I listen to it with a whole different set of ears, I come up with a set of tweaks just to change it again. In overal, it just doesn't sound like "me"... But it is actually "me" that is doing this piece...

Part 9 is simply insane... Lets just keep it at that

You seriously make me want to spin progressive trance again. The DnB songs you have made really remind me of breakbeat trance I used to spin about 4-5 years ago. I'm not suggesting that is a bad thing, because it's not, but it doesn't have the Umph that hits me when I listen to Drum N bass. It's epic though. Epic is good. It gets really busy like Stakka and Skynet tunes do. I can hook you up with some if you would like.

I hear a lot of old rave influence on your songs, which is probably what gets me going because I try to incorporate it into my stuff as well. I was reading through that you were building your synths up from scratch and I think that's where you will find a good way to grow out and evolve to where your style is a style and your music can become more emotive, and less defined by the instruments you choose.

I'm not too sure that is coming off right, but to sum up: Make more please.

I like my songs 'messy' from time to time. It just feels 'needed' at certain places where I really want to go 'mental'. The real trick to it though, is not to clog the complete track with everything... it just does not work that way. I usually spend hours listening to just one 32 beat phrase and move on to the next.

That my DnB stuff doesn't have that 'Umph' does not really come as a surprise to me. I am more a trance addict but gotten kind of tired of making trance music, so I am exploring new things. Heck, I just wrote another trance piece in just 2 hours... its kind of like 'doing the same trick over and over again'. But then again, the kids love it for some reason.

Anyways, you wanted more music... I have been working my butt of for the last 48 hours again, so here's a list

How do you compose so much music in so little time? I really envy for a skill like that.

By the way, part 9 is ****ing awesome.

Experience my friend. Don't forget, I have been creating music for 17 years now. I have come to a stage that I only need to 'think' of what I want to create. I sit behind the laptop and it just rolls out of the fingers.

Even though, I am still in the 'always' learning process, I am alway up to it to do something new. Creating music for me is an always learning experience and hopefully that will never stop. Otherwise creating music wouldn't be fun if you would ask me

And yes, part 9 is freaking awesome... it even astounded me. I basicly wrote most of the stuff in the train (volume pretty set to low, with a headset, to avoid angry people). When I got back home, I turned up the volume and started to crank up the system pretty wild.

I am currently trying to setup a similar song up (but without the guitars) right now... Frankly, I think people won't like what I will do with this new song. But then again, this will be 'refreshing' sort of
