Program,Software To Create a Techno Song??

so its been MONTHS... that i was wondering what you guys are using.. to create songs... (techno,trance,hardcore,happy hardcore etc..)

is it like.. you create a beat , put it on repeat and add some effect to create a song..or idk.. im noob in this.. is there any software on the net that i can buy or something.. i really love music and i would like to contribute to FFR by making some techno songs... Help?

EDIT: if any FFR music creator could help me ( ex: cornandbeans,jimerax..etc )

fruity loops? is it good? and do you guys have any tips, or something to help me out? ( tutorials somewhere or anything else) if you can name some other good programs that would be uber awesome

Cause its funny and misleading haha. I mean come on fruity loops? lol sorry about that. I would use audacity its probably the most commonly used and easiest.

definitely want something like this, willing to pay too, I've heard of people using FX studio (I think) don't know much about it, also I was wondering what some of you artists prefer, a physical synth or programs like we're talking about here?

i think ima try fruity, but it looks a little bit complicated, with the stuff ive seen on youtube lol, LOT of settings..

EDIT: since im a beginer, ima try Ejay Techno 4 , well see what i can do with that for sure ill submit something for FFR, something RAVE!!!!! some uber beats

FL sucks for most music.

After you get used to it, add in Ableton, and VSTis.

I've heard of Ejay. Sounds very basic. Not much you can do with it.

Fruity Loops is actually quite advanced. You can do quite a bit with it. It's user interface is probably much easier to understand than alot of other music-making software so your best bet would be to stick with that.

Wrong. Lots of artists use FL. Cornandbeans being one of them. They're amazing. Don't diss the program, some people are really good at it.
