    Grrrrr >.<

(there's probably a thread about something similar already posted but I scanned through the topics and didn't see anything so don't be rude if there is one please )

OK so on to my actual post:
I keep getting to the very same part of 'Tori No Uta' every time I play it right after the vocals start and the beat starts to come back in I just cant seem to keep up with it. I've upped my speed to 1.5 which has helped a little but I'm still not getting much further. I really like the song so it's frustrating
Any hints/tips on how to pass this part?

Practice makes Perfects, in this game. All the good players have played some sort of rhythm game for a decent amount of time to get where they are today. If upping your speedmod helped, then that's good. Try going a little faster, little by little. Try using other songs to practice with too, in order to be able to play it better. The game will help you improve on specific songs by playing lots.

just because the speed mod works for you doesnt mean it works for everyone bethany

practice and keep experimenting with different speedmod/key setup configurations and go with whats best

              mash lightly
as long as you're not getting more boos (taps hitting nothing) than perfects you'll stay alive

it's not a good habit though since you won't improve by playing halfassedly

Use mirror, you might read the pattern better. I don't know, just try anything

Keep playing, don't get upset because you can't pass some song because you will, eventually, full combo it somedays. The game is all about practice, and the more you'll play, the more you'll get used to the gameplay and the more efficient you'll be.
A good way to progress would be to play hard songs (well whatever your definition of "hard song" would be for now) coming back to "normal ones" and progressively being aware of your progress. Your progress depends of the basis you're playing the game on, it took me some months to play regular keyboard files.

And Vince, using mirror doesn't in any way improve your reading of the song magically. Mirror approximatively corrects your bad habits and it can help only once you got familiarised with the file you're playing, it's useful only for an empirical application

A trick to the intro bursts is to treat some of them like they're jumps. That's how I tackle it.

I know how mirror works. However, he might have a hard time with that particular pattern, so seeing it the other way might help, I don't know.

I assume Blaster is playing spread-style. I think left/right/shuffle mods would help him more on the subject since it makes the original pattern barely recognizable and thus, probably more playable depending on his own capacities.

Spread is the two handed style of play right? No I don't play that way.
