Oh my god! I have the same problem now. I had to delete everything from my computer and redo everything because it messed up, and now it wont really register my keys even though i did before. Cant play anything above an 8 without lag and ****. And i have the standalone and Gamebooster. STILL nothing is working for me...

Don't downgrade your flash, just download the standalone..

I tried it a little while ago and gave it a test run without it registering my login since it was just a test. Far...FAR better than trying to play in Chrome.

I still get a few lag sputters, but 690 perfects, 52 goods, 3 averages, 3 misses, and 3 boos on Virtual Emotion isn't half bad. :P

Yeah Gamebooster doesn't help with my comp either! I just bought a new laptop like a 5-6 days ago and it lags more than my old comp. But I'm not sure why as the stats between the 2 are TOTALLY different

Old Comp:

Windows XP SP 2
512 mb RAM
60 Gb Space
Some bad graphix card
single core.. maybe dual core I highly doubt it's dual


New Comp:
Windows 7
6 GB RAM
640 GB space
i7 Processor
and a 425 M Graphics Card.

You'd think the new comp would run alot better with it.. but
My old comp runs ffr and sm like a charm... my new comp not soo much D: I'm not sure why.

Do you have Vista ? I thought Vista was bad/causes lag with FFR/SM.

I use a Flash 8 standalone player and I click "Personalize" on the desktop and switch to Classic Theme everytime I'm about to play. This eliminates 99% of those lag problems for me.

I'm on XP, so there's no "Personalize". Besides, I'm using a classic XP theme anyways. :P

Lol downgrading flash or downloading a flash standalone won't cripple your system, that was a pre-existing problem, I'm afraid. Scan your computer for viruses more often.

If you did it with Gamebooster, Gamebooster sucks so.. yea

Downgrade to Flash 8 (you can find an uninstaller here : http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html)

Then find a Flash 8 download.

Get Firefox.

No need for standalone, and nothing will be crippled. Facebook works fine, YouTube works fine.

GameBooster works nicely with Vista/XP, not sure about Windows 7.

I also have a laptop with similar specs (Win7, i7 750QM, 6GB, GeForce 460M) and FFR runs fine with GameBooster and Flash8.. Could it be the bloatware that comes with new laptops?

Downgrading seems unnecessary to me. If the only reason you need a lower version of flash is to play FFR, downgrading isn't the best option when you can just quickly download something. It's ridiculously easy on XP anyway.
