No, actually, the best one-handers on this site have trouble making it to Tier 4. In fact, there may not even BE a one-hander in Tier 4. I'm not sure though; if some one-hander wants to come in here and prove me wrong, by all means, pop on in. But even if we get, what, two one-handers doing so? Okay, that's 2 people out of... how many on the Tier list?

Spread is the most powerful playing style. It may not be the one people have fun with, but if you want to get good, spread is the best way to go. Anyone who says they "can't learn spread" and it isn't the style for them just isn't trying hard enough. Anyone can learn any playing style.

well that depends on what kind of spread youre talking about. theres 3 finger and 4 finger spread. 3 finger is where you use your index and middle on one hand and use index on the other. 4 finger is where you use both index and middle for both hands.

i personally use 3 finger and have been for over 5 years. ive been trying to go 4, but theres too much of a mental block

Use teh number pad. =] With numlock turned off. Most people get better with faster speed mods, try them.

Seriously, practice patterns and learn how to time music.
Memorize a few songs, not the steps, and practice them over and over.

I find playing with two hands difficult. I never got the hang of it.
I'm still fairly good for playing with one hand. I have noticed, though, that two handed players are in the top ranks.

To get better - play more songs (really, the more you play the better you'll get)

An AAA is when you get all perfects on a song with a full combo. That is all perfects with no goods, boos, misses, etc.

The rest of you - you're not funny, you're idiots.

But they're funny idiots.

And also try a speed mod, I wouldn't recommend playing at 1X speed. I would recommend 1.75X speed. You'll see the difference.
