RE: Re: RE: Adopting a Noob.

I guess I have been acting a bit noobish. How long do I have to be a member or how many posts till I can adopt a noob then?

Edit: My other file is Isaacs505. He's been a member since I think May 31, 2004. If you don't believe me, then too bad.

You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.

      You're still a n00b.

PS: I could adopt about 80-90% of the people on this site.

RE: Re: RE: Adopting a Noob.

My guess of being a newbie would be the following:

1.) A lack of knowing the rules of the forum.
2.) You have a very big number of questions in your head about the forum.
3.) You have not been a member to the forum very long.

If you wish to be considered no longer a newbie, do the following:

1.) Be at least a 2 month member of these boards.
2.) Use proper grammer and spelling.
3.) Learn what the answers to your previous questions are.

If you want to adopt a newbie, then you must be able to answer most of the questions they have, and show them how to post so it is readable. Otherwise, it is not really adopting, and you're just making a friend.

Another thing. You dont become a non-n00b by being a part of FFR for a long time or by making a ton of posts. Anybody can do that. Experience is a part of it, but there is a lot else involved.

Angel-d, it's called the "adopt a n00b foundation" by M-A-C. It is now a locked topic in the garbage bin.

Thanks for you opinion. You obviously know when topics are outdated and dead. You joined a whole 4 days ago. Impressive. Seriously...

As you can see, this account has been around a little while longer. I'm not new to FFR.
