I've been playing for a little while now and I just started trying out new things on here, but I cant seem to go into multiplayer or go down in the shop to look at the cheaper songs. I dont know if I'm a idiot or if I need an updated program. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

What do the different colored arrows mean?
They signify the subdivision of the notes. Blue for quarter notes, Red for 8ths, Yellow for 16ths etc. The songs that are skinned this way are therefore much easier to sightread and learn.

So I take it FC has something to do with lots of boos?
An FC is a Full Combo, which means that you passed the song with 0 misses. Since boos don't break combo, on many harder songs, players get a full combo by "mashing" or hitting all the arrows very quickly, which gets you lots of boos but keeps your combo.

but i can't remember my favorite play style... diagonal. left to right with the arrows, which ones are they?
You can pick your arrow scrolling style on the main FFR game page, the buttons are in the top right corner, and obvious which is which style.

but I cant seem to go into multiplayer or go down in the shop to look at the cheaper songs.
I'm not sure why you're having trouble with multiplayer loading, but the issue with the shop is that due to the way it was coded, you cannot scroll it, you simply have to buy the ones already shown in order to move up the other ones.

Hi i'm new and i can't get ffr resonance to work is it my computer or is there something wrong with the program
Resonance is still a very early beta, and is often prone to problems. It is designed to allow people to play songs from the simfile database on FFR without having to download them to Stepmania. If refreshing a few times doesn't fix the problem, consider posting again in the resonance forum section to get some specific help.

This is called "Key-Mapping". There are two main programs used in FFR for this purpose: "Auto-Hot Key" (AHK for short), and an alternate version of AHK, found in MRichards "Alternative for key-Remapping" thread. I prefer the ladder, as it is much simpliar to use and runs just as good, if not better than AHK.

There's a thread about this that should answer all of your questions. Here's the link.
