This comment is not really CT worthy, but oh well.

I love how through creationism, we all are created through acts of incest. Incest is also a sin. We are all damned and going to hell, but thats beside the point.

What I also don't get is how could Adam and Eve even communicate or there children, when they have no language and are still the same as primitive animals.

LOL and he is saying that man is the cause of disease and if animals came before man it ruins the basis of the faith. That is if you believe in millions of years.

The guy gets bonus points for his beard but in the end still fails.

It is possible to have faith in God without taking everything in the Bible as literal truth. It is when you take the Bible as absolute fact that you begin to look like a fool.

Have faith, sure, but don't count on an ancient book which is full of inconsistencies, not only in and of itself but also in modern ethics.

You can also have morality without Christian faith too. Those sections that say that there would be school violence, pornography, homosexual activity, and abortion without the bible are completely unfounded. You don't see chaos when a lot of the world is turning to atheism.

He also keeps saying that the atheist understand the bible better than the Christian leaders --- hello! they actually do.

Sorry, but overwhelming evidence suggests that Genesis taken literally did not occur.

                THE BIBLE IS TRUE.

Except for a few parts that contradict it, but that's ok, we'll just ignore them.

                      Re: Ken Ham through Genises

About the only place that I think "Genesis" falls under is how the universe came to be. I mean, yes. Big Bang>Galaxies>More complicated atoms>Atoms somehow join to produce the first bacteria>Y'all should have a decent understanding of the rest.

Now, I agree with Afrobean. I see many things unexplained that many of those attached to the bible claim it to be in all of God's favor. For example, I remember as a little kid I asked why tornadoes exist (I've had the blessing of surviving a tornado) if God isn't all that evil. If he is what some people exaggerate him to be, he could bring an end to all of them. I eventually realized that not every single bit of the universe's actions were under God's control. I still believed in God, however (and still do), but I understand that our universe needs to be explored outside an old book.

While we're all talking about religion here, I might as well say this: I think God put us in the universe to explore outside the bible. He WANTS us to be curious about our surroundings and natural events.

Animals don't like being in small cages; the Jews didn't like the persecution in WWII; I don't think deities wanted all of us to keep our heads in the bible, Qu'ran or any other religious book for the rest of our lives.

So I don't look so one-sided as far as religion goes, I'll say this: Whether we're Atheists, Agnostics, Protestant, Catholic, Hebrew, Islam, or any other religions or non-religions that I didn't list, we humans were put on this Earth to explore.

Yes. It still has some truth and ideologies which I agree with. My personnal values are very close to those of the curch, but I don't need to beleive in god to have a decent and respectful way of living.

Even Darwin's theory, which is totally outdated, still has some truth in it.

I hate Ken Ham. He corrupts the minds of innocent little children that have parents that make them watch his lectures. He preaches nonsense, like the literal occurance of Genesis, Noah's ark, Adam and Eve and all. All of which can be completely disproven from archaeology, ancient history and science in general.

To top it off he even teaches kids methods of refuting evolution, and to never believe such nonsense. It's horrible.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm an expert in this field, but I know that if there is overwhelming evidence to support evolution, then literal Genesis couldn't have occurred. There are three main, independent lines of evidence out there that show tremendous support towards evolution: homology, biogeography and fossils.

Besides that though, the more of a religious debate this becomes, the more lock-able this thread becomes. So, back to the video: I stopped watching after 3 minutes because his claims supporting Genesis 1-11 weren't floating my boat, and I couldn't bear to watch the rest of it.

I love Ken Ham! Hes great! Its very interesting to go over this with my friends, I tend to like to see other sides of veiw's when it comes to these things. There are so many flaws in what you believe the world came to be; its very hard to imagen that we came from lower life forums or crap like that. I think what hes doing is great! It really hit me hard when I watched the first video. any way next time I post another vidoe I will preview it first. I had watched it before but I did not think anything was wrong with it so next time I will consiter your views.
