RE: What FFR did for me.

I was changed a lot, learned new things, and got to know a lot of people around the world.

However, it never changed of what i do in real life. I am still my individual person around the house, very social in school, and also the risk taking person i always used to be.
Although, this year, and the last one, i have gained a lot of friends in different grades.
Right now, i have more freshmen friends =D (Not including Teen-Pep service).
I have learned to be very open with things, and sharing my own ideas that i have with someone who is in need of help.

Like the other day, my mom said i am her best friend..

RE: What FFR did for me.

In real life, FFR doesn't have much effect, aside from it being a place I can go to anytime to play the game, type in the chat, or reading or writing in these forums.
However, FFR did allow me to make new friends. While not to the point of a platonic bond, at least I have found others to hang with. I also came in contact with interesting and funny things just from coming here.

RE: What FFR did for me.

I think that the main thing that FFR has done for me is it helped me get out of using poor grammar and spelling. If you look at my early posts, I was the typical noob that didn't really know anything. Although I don't feel like I have any close friends on the site, I do feel a little bit more respected, and that is greatly appreciated. Sometimes I make annoying posts, and sometimes I don't post when I should, but I think that FFR has helped me a lot. The people on this site are the best, and it has made me want to be a better person.

It won't hurt you if you don't act stupid.

FFR is a great community to be a part of. I consider it the best one I've joined. DDRFreak was so noobish it got to be annoying, and every local board I joined collapsed over petty fights. FFR is stable, nearly everyone is friendly, and there's an outlet for pointless posts that would otherwise flood other forums such as on DDRFreak (the GB is the best forum idea I've seen). Now that I see the way this community grew while I mostly ignored it for several months in preference for DDRFreak (big mistake), I kinda regret that decision. It has helped me to be more open, have an outlet for ideas, and find people that will actually listen and discuss things on a deeper level, something that's hard to find elsewhere on the net.

There is so much for me to say about this site.

To summarize it up, If there was no FFR. I don't know where I would be in life.

RE: Re: RE: What FFR did for me.

Let's see. FFR greatly improved my overall grammar, raised my IQ 12 points, and changed my overall thought process. It changed my views on gov't, religion, and other various topics. It helped me greatly mature. It has a very tight community, which is full of a diverse group of awesome people. TWG made me the best 7-up player in the school. The game itself improved my reaction time, awareness, and other subtle things. It made my mind much more sharp. I'm very grateful for the awesome community and support FFR gets, and I am willing to contribute in any way to maintain this site, money etc. I greatly appeciate all FFR has done for so myself and so many others.

FFR made me good at FFR.

On a more serious note, I've discovered that my writing abilities have greatly improved since I joined.

I've changed a lot from way back in november when I first joined(FFR), it's just I can't get any attention by acting like you all. Kind of sad, but I guess I'm a attention-whore.

I like how everyone on FFR knows eachother and there aren't any of those 60 year old pedophile people like in AOL chats. That's why I've stayed here and that's why i'm comfortable with talking to the people on the phone and stuff. I know that Synth and baybay will protect us <3

It's kind of funny how many of the forum regulars never play the actual game.

I started playing FFR a long while back, before I played DDR or SM. I came for the game, and it was good. I also never posted, and used the word lol constantly in AIM. These days, if I play FFR, it's because I have a free couple of minutes in CIS class, and feel like showing off. But mostly when on the computer it's browsing these forums and interacting with these people. Because most everybody here rocks. FFR has made me more intelligent in general, improved my grammer, and allowed me to meet some quite excellent people. That's more then any other site has done for me lately.
