Evolution is evergoing... People who are so shallow as to believe that humans have "finished" evolving are... ignorant, say.

I hated sounding so vulgar but still.
Okay, we still have so many diseases, and there is somebody who develops an immunity to it. Human evolution hasn't stopped. Nowhere near.

Besides, most evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years... You can't just be like "poof! Oh ho! I suddenly don't need oxygen to live anymore!"

But I wouldn't know now would I? I'm only 14.

You aren't the only 14 year old around here. Anyway, you're right. That idea/experiment would not work..

Well, I suppose instead of humans, maybe they could try rats out first? Much easier.

It wouldn't work. Mainly because nobody would do it. I mean, it's almost like paying someone to see if they're able to survive and never see the results. I'm assuming you'll be paying them. Even if you did, how would they spend it after they're locked up for the rest of their lives?

The point is, people won't go for it it because it won't pay off for them. So you'd have to force them. And the ones you happen to manage to force will more than likely be the ones who can't run away, the ones who are weaker or less clever. The ones you don't want to be breeding and being used in evolutionary experiments to begin with.
