That looks like an amazing gag gift for my cousin who loves solving his rubix cube. Was it expensive?
I just checked for you, expect to shell out at least 50$ for one probably, retail goes up to 100$ or so but there were a bunch for about half that on Ebay.
This website sells the Teraminx too but it comes with crappy stickers to my knowledge and you are pretty much forced to buy an extra set of stickers.
This doesnt include shipping and stuff so you will end up paying more than what the site says.

Haha, thanks! I think I might get the Megaminx instead cause it's a lot cheaper
Never knew any of these existed. Pretty cool if you ask me.
So here is my first progress update. Lol this cube takes so long to solve because of how long it takes to rotate the layers.
So far what I have basically done is made a bigger center for each color. Next im going to solve another layer of the center of each color and keep doing that until I get it to where it is basically like a normal megaminx.

Man I can't imagine actually spending the time to solve one of these, godspeed friend.
Also yeah these puzzles are usually pretty expensive, they have hundreds if not thousands of moving parts.

haha there are a LOT of different kinds of puzzles out there haha. I have over 20 different kinds but there are over hundreds out there. Lots of custom made puzzles out there.

Wait for leonid to post his stash of twisty puzzles
I like reading about them and looking at the 3D models to try to learn the mechanisms, but I don't collect them.
btw Ninty you should get something meaner than a Megaminx if you want a gag present, get a bandaged 3x3x3 or something that will really piss off anyone used to solving a Rubix cube one specific way.
Something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kkdy9FSkS14
There's even harder puzzles than that out there, just that bandaged cubes usually take totally different methods to solve, really annoying for "speed cubers" who are just masters of one algorithm.
I'm a regular visitor of twistypuzzles forum :P
Teraminx is just too tedious to solve to get my interest, but it's good to know some people other than me on FFR also enjoy solving these kinds of puzzles

haha yeah after trying to solve the teraminx so far I have realized it is very tedious haha. DEFINETLY NOT a puzzle I would speedcube. Gigaminx is the limit when it comes to that.
EDIT: lol now I have to make a pic of my collection XD
EDIT: getting close to finishing up all the center stuff.... hopefully the last two centers wont be a pain in the ass >.>
