what you see in the video costs right around $1000. ill have to go through my invoices from newegg to total it all up. ill edit with an exact amount ina bit. and about $1350 with the dual gtx 570 setup which ill get running soon. i just wanted to make sure everything ran ok before putting the other 570 in.

      prices edit:

      processor: 169.99
      motherboard: 104.99
ram: 62.99 (had a coupon thingy from an email from newegg)
      dual videocards: 700.00
      power supply: 59.99
      case: 49.99
      touch screen fan controller: 57.98
harddrive: free. was a gift. retails for 429.99 (did nottt think it costs that much)

      total: $1585.93

That is a pretty fair price for the specs. I really like what I see. Hopefully sometime in the future, I will plan on building my own computer but the sad thing is that I am somewhat bad at determining which computer parts are considered good or not.

mainly because of the coupon deal i had at the time. it was a limited time offer.

                  Looks sick, m0de.
Wish I had the motivation and money (not to mention knowledge) to do this.

Who in the **** uses 16GB of RAM for playing video games? Unless he's doing video editing/hardcore anything over 4GB wouldn't make a difference at this time.

Not a fan of Seagate hard drives, but that's easily swapped out.

pairing AMD and nVidia is a bad idea.

"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
                        "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

Didn't even notice this. This is bad news for you as IIRC AMD mobos don't support SLI which is requird to run 2 NVidea cards.

General rule of thumb is if you do go AMD NEVER get an NVidea card, however if you go Intel you can go either or as long as the mobo supports all the features your video card has. Also AMD is kinda shitty these days and I'd only ever use it if I needed to do some large caluclations, video editing, or rendering since AMD only tops Intel at large calculations.
