You made around $5600 a month? That's pretty good. Does anyone else on FFR make more?
Even if I took the job at Target 3 years ago making $12.50/hour working 40 hours/week, I'd still only round out at $2,500/month before fees/taxes.
If I were given the usual raise percentage (4%) per year, I would be making $14.06 now. Still working 40 hours/week, I'd still only round out at $2,812/month before fees/taxes.
I got laid off from Chipotle's last Friday and I was wondering if I am still going to be paid for the days I worked until then?
Also, does the IRS send your taxes back? They took huge chunks from each and every one of my paycheck nearing over 200 dollars each. I asked one of my friends and he said that they don't and that they keep it, but my other friend said that I could file a tax return next year. I am so confused.
That sucks shayne, hope everything works out for the best mate <3
Also, here unemployment pays stupidly. They basically offer a flat rate of $400~/fn, but whatever you got when you lose your job/laid off, they take into account. So in the great land of oz, if you had the same thing happen, the government wouldn't give you a cent for a long damn time.
Guru, you will be paid for the days you worked. You can file your taxes next year and get some of the money back, not all of it, but it's usually a good chunk of change.
