ugh...when i had the surgery done to take those bitches out I didn't wake up 'till i got home (i was unconsciously walking to the car and in my house)and HOOOLLLY SHIIIT they hurt like a mofo!
Pudding and icecream = sweet sweet heaven. (sometimes soup)
I'm afraid to eat solid food, though. Tried eating egg the first day and I was able to do so, but I think something got stuck somewhere (even though I rinsed) because one of the wisdom tooth sites became infected.
So now I am on penicillin and percocets. Those painkillers are amazing. But it totally sucks when you wake up in the middle of the night because those bastards wear off every 4 hours.
It's annoying -- the right half of my face is actually normal. The left side is massive and it looks like I'm trying to pocket 2 golf balls in there.

PICS!
But yea, that does suck. I don't have to get mine out ever. The dentist said that my teeth were growing so crooked already that they won't ever even protrude from my gums. Yay.
I got mine removed one at a time. This was when I had braces. There was one tooth that was stuck in the roof of my mouth so they had to attach a chain on that tooth and pull it down. It was painfully brutal.
Right now I'm just trying to get the swelling to go away. I had the teeth removed on the morning of the 30th. It's now the morning of the 4th -- gahhh. It's better than it was yesterday, but son of a bitch I want solid food so badly. Ice/hot compresses only do so much.
Get them removed early if you can. Better than waiting until later when they've grown and started knocking shit around. Recovery time and swelling would probably not be as profound, either.
