How do you dot your i's?

Just curious. I just want to see if there is a general trend when it comes to "i" dotting. I dot them immediately after making the vertical stroke but I know others who do it differently.

EDIT: I meant to make this a poll but since some of the options I made were over 100 characters long, the poll was aborted. Here are the options:

-I make the dot before the vertical stem.
-I immediately dot the "i" after making the vertical stem.
-I dot them after writing the entire word, starting with the i's closest to the end of the word.
-I dot them after writing the entire word, starting with the i's closest to the beginning of the word.
-I dot them after writing the entire sentence, starting with the i's closest to the end of the word.

i do the same. my mom though dots them after writing the word

I dot them right away, unless I'm writing in cursive in which I'll wait until I'm finished writing out the rest of the word.

I use little circles.

i tend to write i's t's l's etc. from the bottom up and dot/cross them immediately.
i know people though who write out whole fuccen paragraphs and then go through and dot all the i's and stuff it just seems to inefficient xd

I write it from top to bottom and dot it after.

I know people like that like. It really bugs me. For example:
teacher: student, it's time to turn your 3 page paper in.
student: hold on.
teacher: did you forget to write your name?
student: no, I just need to dot all these i's and cross my t's.
