and I don't know what I've got. Been throwing up bile, and before I was prescribed an acid reducer, it was acid and bile. I've been throwing up for several mornings at a time in odd intervals, though. Never was there anything else except acid and/or bile. This time, I'm kind of worried. I threw up some bile and I saw some red spot inside of the bile. Is that blood or is it possible it's something else?

Went to the doctor today. I was prescribed Omeprazole rather than Ranitidine. However, both are OTC strength, and Omeprazole wasn't covered by my insurance, and I wasn't allowed to take the 30 mg, so I have 20 mg instead. However, some instances make me believe I have something other than GERD, but I don't know for sure. I am going to get an ultra sound done to check my gall bladder though.

UPDATE: I've had my ultrasound and the doctor did not find anything wrong with my Kidney, Pancreas, Liver, or Gallbladder. Typically this would sound like good news, but I still don't know what's causing the symptoms. Right now I haven't been experiencing the symptoms for 2 weeks. They are on and off, and I probably will be experiencing them again in about another 2 to 6 weeks. We'll see. Anyone have any ideas?
