Re: Pimp parenting right here
BEAT YOUR CHILDREN.
Bruises heal and the child learns not to do stupid shit due to the instillment of fear and physical punishments. Taking things away just leads them to sneak it back to their possession and turn to a life of crime.

Re: Pimp parenting right here
I don't understand why you would need to inflict physical pain on your child. When you make a mistake you don't have someone beating your ass trying to teach you a lesson. Those kid's look like there around 6 and 10. They didn't know what would happen. If the parents were so worried about house damage then they shouldn't be buying there kid's beyblades. In all reality it's all the parents faults. They bought the toys, probably didn't enforce any rules on where to play with beyblades, and like Rubin0 said. That can't all just happen in one day. It had to have happened over a period of time. But they just let it go. If anything the parents should get there asses beat for buying the kid's the toys.Last edited by blackout650; 02-5-2011, 11:53 AM.Comment

Re: Pimp parenting right here
Beyblades are like a spinning top toy, they weren't playing with them "In the bath" they were playing with them "Using the bathtub as a surface to spin them around" Doubt that required or wanted direct supervision.Okay before I say anything else, are these children taking baths by themselves? Are their parents watching them as they play with their toys in the bathtub? If so, then why didn't they stop them before the destruction happened? If the damage was this severe it would have made a lot of noise and wouldn't have taken just a moment to happen.Comment

You have a broad definition of mistake then. I'm not talking about minor things. I mean stuff like property/living thing damage, cheating, stealing, and the like.I don't understand why you would need to inflict physical pain on your child. When you make a mistake you don't have someone beating your ass trying to teach you a lesson. Those kid's look like there around 6 and 10. They didn't know what would happen. Also, there's no way the parents didn't ask their kids to stop after the first time they were caught with the toys in the bathtub. You can't possibly pin this all on the parents. And maybe there were babysitters involved that let the kids run rampant despite parental warnings. It didn't happen in one day, but it's obvious the kids have no responsibility with their playthings.
And how do 6 and 10-year-olds not have a concept of cause and effect? Okay, maybe not the 6-year-old, but the older kid HAD to have been able to understand what his mom said when she warned him about the toys. Sheesh.Comment

That's some pretty cruel and unusual punishment.Originally posted by ?祇園精舎の鐘の聲、
