You can save any file on my site. Nobody that's gotten past level 11 has that problem.

Found the problem, didn't work for mozilla.

But if put in IE, works perfectly.

Just so you know, you're not making any good points. Even if you gave the answer to me, it's still not even remotely close to my level. Your level is completely different from level 8 and is totally unreasonable and can't be compared at all.

Your hint of fruit galore could mean that there's more than one type of fruit on the reflective table, just not in the first picture. This could mean "oranges12.jpg" or something. Then, you have the "trap level" style where the answer is actually fruitgalore12.jpg or lemons.jpg (removing the 12). Now, if I actually made a level with that picture, I'd make it something reasonable like the trap style I demonstrated (which is what some of my levels are).

What you're doing is not what I do in any of my levels.

It's the exact same thing. You can point to any set of your hints and transform it into a wide array of possible interpretations. That's what bat deduction IS. It's not just for level 8, but a vast majority of other levels/riddles you've created. You can't say it's not different just because you, with hindsight, already know the answer to your riddle. They both invoke the same sort of ambiguity.

That's what notFFRon does too in a good amount of levels, but whatever.

You probably don't like those levels you mentioned, so I'll give you that. Try out the rest of the levels and tell me what you think (Rebound tempended and told me they were clever but some were also a bit vague, so it's not like I think my levels are always easy).

The difference I made in mine is that I don't require programs like audacity or photoshop/GIMP or winrar whatever to solve my levels. All you need at most is paint, notepad, sound recorder/windows media player (thses are free programs that come with windows) and maybe google in some cases (useful for level 10).

Let me just put out there that any riddle site is unfair by nature, because the creator of the riddle knows more than the player does. It's easy to know the solutions to your own levels, because you've made them, after all. It is up to the player to determine the solution that you set out for them. The variable here is how clearly or vaguely the solution is shown.

By default you would consider your own levels to be more reasonable. You know the solutions already. Just because notFFRon levels don't align with your method of thinking doesn't mean that your levels are automatically more fair. Take into consideration how many people are reaching tempend on yours, and what is tripping them up in your levels. Having to add external hints to make the levels even solvable isn't really the best way to go about it, as the levels really should be self-contained. (I have a few levels of my own that need updating, lol)

Just updated levels 4 and 8.

For any of you that are stuck on level 17, you may want to go back to tutorial level 4 since I updated it. It contains some pretty useful advice.

True - what I actually meant is that you don't need to download any of those programs to solve these however.

And flashpantss, you should revisit level 4 and consider the advice given if you're really stuck on 17 (I just recently changed it).

I did revisit, just that what i think, and what i did are both not correct. tried every letter and still nothing. thought it would be the letter in the level name beep .---, but it's not. just have to keep trying different letter words.

You'll notice what it actually is saying if you look into it and think about what you've seen.
