Computer space problem

Yesterday I had 740 free gigs of space on my computer.

Today I have 730. I didn't add anything!


It's been like this ever since I got my computer a month and a few ago, where space is constantly being used (and in big amounts) yet it's not asking me anything. What could be the problem? Why can't I find it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The thing called .jagex cache is essentially a cookie from the company called "JaGeX". It stores all information in there to make loading time run faster the next time you visit; it accumulates after every visit to any jagex affiliated website.

If that says 59.4GB, I recommend deleting it; although everything will be slow to load again, just like a tumour, it will grow back.

That's actually the data of all the things in C:, not just the jagex cookie. It just happened to be the first one on the list and shows up first in the name thing.


The Jagex file only takes up 95.8 MB of space.

Perhaps what is causing the problem is in a hidden folder then?

If that's the case then I'd like to know how to access said hidden folder.

I should be at 850 GB of free space, i'm at 730. Whatever took up 120 of them without my permission seriously shouldn't be hidden. Wtf

The program still shows a total of 60 GB or so of my disk, although it says that I have 717 GB of space left.

Why in the world do I have only 717 GB of space left since I posted this I DIDNT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING

I'd compare that to a later screenshot if the space allocations change again, make sure the recycle bin's empty, etc. I don't really see anything wrong from the ss by itself (but notice the pagefile was recently modified)

If you're referring to the differential, it's usually due to hidden/system files, directories, FAT/MFT, log file, etc.
