If you have to hack to beat a game, then you're only succeeding at hacking. It doesn't make you good at the game, and pulling off a hack doesn't mean you've suddenly mastered the game, either. There's no challenge. As can be clearly seen from all the bots, FFR is incredibly easy to hack. Winning a retard's war is hardly satisfying.

It's like... PUA. You might get laid, but it doesn't mean you're actually good with women.

But if you cheat and win, getting away scott free, is that not a challenge? You say all these FFR hackers embody the worthlessness of such an action. Of course, these people contradict my point; they do not craft their own path but instead steal an already made one from strangers. Saying "there's no challenge," it just seems wrong with respect to my argument. Even staying on topic of computers, would it not be a rousing challenge in itself to figure how to bend a flash form to work as you wish it to? To bend to your whim? Indeed, I agree; a "retard's war" is not very amusing... But FFR is simply an example. The idea of finding another route, one that could even possibly be more difficult, is not a challenge at all?

I suppose the question is not as much "is it OK", but rather "if one has the ability to, should one use it?" If it is to bring you more benefit, would you be able to resist? Ever forget your homework and widdle an explanation out, ultimately having the instructor say that you may just hand it in later today, saving yourself on a grade letter loss? I know that I have. On more than on occasion in fact. Would being "moral" have given me what I deserve? Would it be smart? I was best in the class, so would the grade letter off be a fair representation of me in the future? I suppose in one way it truly can, but if the more important fact, your standing in knowledge, is about to be compromised with as much as a physical mistake unrelated to your abilities, would you say you would ignore the opportunity to save yourself a dent in your future? I find such hard to believe as it is human nature to think of one's self before the other.

Yes, before anyone sicks Dostoyevsky on me, I do realize how similar this sounds.

Just go shoplift, dude. You'll gain something tangible and arguably more valuable, and still get that wild kick you get from simply contemplating the matter.

what's more fun: competition or poking at a rhythm game community with a stick with nobody on your side?

yo bro i know what ya sayin like sometimes i picture that there's this princess that needs to be saved and she's locked in this cage above a lava pit and if i don't AAA dendrite then she falls in but its aite cuz i get help from my ~*~TeAmMatEs~*~ like maybe leo will start the song and do the first thirty seconds (mind you if he pillows anything then the princess gets burned) and if he does everything good then tera comes in and does the next part and we're like 'oh man plz don't mess up bro lives are on the line!' so he does his thing and then i sit down and do the last part which is kinda easier but it's the very end so the pressure's on bro and everyone's watchin' but then we do it and then the princess is rly happy and blows leo and me and tera would normally feel bad that we didn't get anything but we take pride in the fact that we made a difference
