I am very unpleased. I downloaded it because the Vista that came on my laptop was crap for ffr, so I though I'd try it out.

I still lag, even worse now actually. Has anyone else had this expierence?

nope

For me it runs flawlessly and I haven't had any issues with the RC.

It's supposed to run well on netbooks, so your computer must be pretty darn old.

Also, have you tried turning off Aero and UAC?

what the **** did you buy two weeks ago that can't play ffr? did someone **** in a case and sell it to you?

ps you can disable aero by changing the appearance options in the "Appearance Settings" panel.

pps If that doesn't work just say '**** it' and download tinyxp. If that doesn't work then nothing will.

Alternatively, if you like Aero and would rather it turn off when you start certain applications, you can do this:



This will turn off Aero whenever you start the program. Like Firefox, or Steam, or WoW.
