Because all it's doing is giving people false hope that it'll be easy to be a singer (or a musician, I haven't watched the show in centuries) because it's being hosted on national T.V. It's not. And most people vote based on the singers looks instead of you know...their actual talent? It's quite sad, but hey! At least I'm not the one mindlessly calling in to vote on some nearly talentless fool because "OMG HE/SHE'S SO SUAVE."
It's the same with nearly every musician that we're fed to today. But that's an argument for a different day.Comment
