there are two schools in my little town. The Public, and the Academy about 2-3 blocks away. The Academy gets "flex" days almost every week.

btw I go to public, f*ck yeah.

i dont have half days. in college you pick your own schedule. I actually have more classes than I had in high school. This semester I have 11. No half days for me

Yeah my school took out half days too, we had about 10 in a school year I think, they replaced them with getting out 30 mins early every Wednesday and that confuses people even more cause a lot of parents get confused, its really stupid.

i think we had 2 half day in high school, i dont remember for sure. college doesnt have half days. but we do have a few nice professors that may occasionally cancel class or let us out early.

Natural Disasters are always fun. Possible chance that your school can go bye bye is a rather funny concept. And that actually happened to a school I used to go to. 2 years after I graduated, the school gets completely demolished b a hurricane. I heard about that and was like, WTF!?

We get half days every blue moon, along with getting out on Wednesdays an hour early. It messed up my schedule and makes Wednesday more evil than it should be.
