No I'm not, you have no idea what you're talking about so quit messaging me over MSN.

If you're a 50 or thereabouts playing ranked matches, you're almost always going to be playing against players with awful tactics. I find that the skill level ranking isn't at all representative of a player's skill.

How so? The whole point of being a 50 is that you get matched up against other 50's. Are you sure you're playing something like MLG or Team Slayer and not something completely...broken, I'll say, like Lone Wolves?

Yes, you get matched up with people of similar numbers next to your name. How is that indicative of equally matched skill?

Unless you're playing somebody who got their account boosted by somebody else, if you're playing a team of people that have 50's in MLG or TS, that means they've actually earned it and they're probably good. People who bought their account won't get paired up with you because they'll lose their 50 as soon as they matchmake. Their Highest Skill, however, will remain a 50. You just don't get paired up with them.

No offense dude but you really don't know what you're talking about, I mean first of all, amount of games played =/= games won, and second of all, getting a 50 is way harder in Halo 3 due to the TrueSkill system screwing over your sigma if you've played many games, and if you lose 1 game, it usually costs between 4-9 wins. Also, getting a 15 in mp is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than getting a 50 rofl. You're probably judging because you're like a 30 that plays games against noobs. If you're a 50, you'll play nothing but 50's and the matches are actually close.

Lump: First of all, I quit Halo for 13 months, and secondly, if you didn't have your 360 for 9 months, that makes it even easier to switch because you're not used to the controls so much from playing every day... =/

Getting a 50 is harder in h3 than h2...what. There's barely any legit 50's in h2 at all, there's toooooons of legit 50's in h3. This is because h2 to this day is still filled with cheaters. Also it takes longer to level up in the symbols.

I think H2 and H3 were both great in their first few months, and then got slowly destroyed by an unbelievable population of idiot preteen morons and drunken racist ******s in their late 20's who make so much of themselves even though they still live with their moms.

Not really, not at all. Almost all of them are boosters who couldn't get 50's on their real accounts, or bought it off somebody else.

You can't judge a game based on playing it two weeks after the game comes out, because nobody was good back then. Try playing the game today with 2000-4000 games played. A 49 will take dozens and dozens of games in a row to win to get a 50, and if you lose 1, you'll have to win back like 4 games for every 1 you lost. Really, you should play it today, it's a completely harder game when you're facing 50's (real ones, not boosters, I explained a post back why boosters don't get paired up with real 50's if you're a 50), and if you made a new account, you probably wouldn't be able to get a 50 anymore.

Yeah, that's why I tend to stay in party chat with my friends so I can't hear the other people. Ranked is also good too, because you can't hear your opponents until after the match, and you can just exit out immediately if they do want to talk.

lol... yeah i gotta say halo 2 was a lot harder of a leveling system. i couldnt get past a 35 in anything in halo 2.

EDIT: I didn't have xbox for 9 months, then i came back and played default for 3 months from november to january. now this month ive been trying to switch over and cant do it. i dunno halo 3 is just messed up in general. have you noticed all the top players don't even straight rape and go 30-2 like they used to do every game.

EDIT2: ps yeah just read the thread, gotta back tera up here. him and izlude kick my ass every time i play with them. lol
