I almost swallowed a nail

Pretty much the day was going normal. I went to play Magic the Gathering in a tourney and we went to celebrate on how well everyone did. Me and three sat down at this restaurant called La Senoritas which is everyone's (in the group) favorite Mexican restaurant. So we sit down and started to eat. I ordered two burritos. Ate the first one just fine. Half way through the second burrito I took a big chunk of it and started to eat it. Right when I bit into it, there was this hook looking nail like something you hang stuff from the ceiling but very small and I almost swallowed it. (Pic coming soon)

Pretty much I asked to speak to the manager. She said we will pay for your dental bill and we will give you a free meal next time you come in. But the retarded thing was I still had to pay for the meal that almost killed me.

So my question is, has anyone had this problem in the past. I'm not talking about hair because that happens a lot. So anyone have this bizarre of a problem?

My friend's girlfriend had been having a bad few weeks. She'd gotten laid off because of the terrible economy, got incredibly sick and started dropping about a pound a day, and was having a bunch of other really great problems.

So, one afternoon, she decided she'd order some pizza because she was so lethargic and couldn't get up from being sick, and when she got the pizza and bit into it, there was shrapnel in it, and it chipped a tooth. Yippee.

That really sucks dude. Manager should get his food prospected by the health inspector.

I had something similar but it wasn't really a big deal. Was chowing down some of the leftover pasta mom made me and as I took a bite I felt something hard and crunchy in the back of my teeth then spit it out and realized it was the lead from my mechanical pencil.

Your nail story reminds me of a Pippi Longstocking episode where she eats (candy) nails in her soup.

Anyways, I found a pebble in a spaghetti dish before. Good thing I spotted the pebble pretty easily.

I found a band-aid in the little cup of sauce I asked for at Bob Evans. The sauce was red, so I still don't know if it was used.

My sister's gym teacher found a beak in one of her chicken nuggets at McDonald's years ago. This was before they switched to "white meat", though; I think this was about 5-6 years ago.

The old 'there's a fly in my soup' ordeal happened to me a few years back. Bastard ruined my clam chowder. =(

Holy crap. I forgot to say this incident too!
I found a maggot in my school mashed potatoes last year.
BLEGH!
We almost sued, but I took the school's offer of Educational Disciplinary Immunity.
I can't get in trouble!
But I don't cause trouble anyways.

You should have sued if you're not a troublemaker anyways.
The most that's happened to me was that there was still a bone in a chicken patty at school, but it wasn't a big deal...

Yeah, I had something like this happen to me.

Only thing is, I never knew what it was. It was just round and hard.
