lol, thats why I use FF. Is this only a problem to gaming websites and the passwords there? Or any site that uses a PW in general? Im a little confused.
People that don't use computers frequently or something similar.
Such as our parents, at least majority of our parents at least. My parent's have to look for about a minute to find each key on the keyboard, and they don't think they can check their email if they use a different browser, they probably think it's a different internet lmao.
Other than that, there's tons of people that still use IE, I would say the main reason is because it's the default installed browser on PCs.
You would be surprised...FF surpasses it in every way I can think of along with every other browser. Unless you really don't care about your browser (This should make you)...I'm openly calling you ****ing retarded.
Unless you look at inconspicuous porn sites, it appears you will be fine.

And if it were Mozilla, are they supposed to go ahead and recommend people use Opera? Well ****, of course not. Why risk losing part of their user base.

It's just how they wrote it as stubbornly said that made me lol.
They probably would have been better not saying anything of the sort though. Obviously telling people to switch isn't a smart move because they could lose money and possibly even shut down. Saying you shouldn't switch due to this one flaw that could get you're accounts hacked just says they care more about money than their users protection/security. Neither answer works in their favor.
What the hell I clicked the thread and my IE went to some computer scan and wouldn't exit like a rickroll I was all WTF IS THIS THE FLAW?! But I came baack and tried, this time going into chit chat then the thread and it worked.

I've never quite understood the "security issue" of using Internet Explorer. I've used this computer and Internet Explorer for over 2 years and don't even have so much as a trace of protection on here - not only do I not even have any anti-virus programs installed, but I actually have the Windows firewall disabled. In my two years of using this computer and Internet Explorer, I have never had a trace of a virus. In fact, it's rare a pop-up gets through. I've never so much as had to system restore.
Granted sure, if you go onto wares / hacks / porn / whatever else sites, well duh, you can probably expect some pretty nasty things to pop up... so don't go there. It's not worth using Firefox... in the grand scheme of things, they're both browsers and ultimately display a webpage, but Firefox has really dumb ways of doing things and I try to stay off of it if at all possible (and unfortunately, due to the excessive text ads on FFR, it's not possible here).

Trust me, you have viruses on your computer. Not ones that are visible or noticeable, but you do have them on there, even if you rarely or never download media.
