I was kind of over forums after I left the other site. I Modded it for 3 years. Stopped visiting regularly about 2 years ago. I still drop in about twice a year. Usually just to renew my subscription, since I actually like the site, and loved the community. But for Gods sake... It's just too much too baby sit a bunch of adults.

Science sites typically attract adults. I was 13 when promoted to Mod. Those adults aren't much worse than you kids. The rules are just a lot more strict and the punishments are a lot less forgiving here. You could typically get a suspenion/ban lessened or removed simply by apologizing and acknowledging you overstepped your bounds, and as long as there wasn't a repeat instance, your name was cleared.

I don't like having a seemingly primarily teenage staff onboard this site. Promotes power abuse and encourages biased judgments.

The best thing that ever happened to the site was having Tass become an Admin. Honestly, he and Squeek are the only ones I've noticed doing a damn good job here. devonin would get some credit, if I didn't get that air of arrogance while reading his posts.

I actually talk with Sprite- though. Dom knows I think he's awesome. Hell, he was number one on my friends list for a while. Only slightly demoted. Number two now ;o

But I'm sure it'd make him feel happy to see some public appreciation.

Also, shout out to another person onboard the FFR staff I felt already knew how I felt about them. Troy (MalDON). I f*cking love you. secks me nao. This site would fall apart if it weren't for your amazing coding skills. Synth needs to recognize just how good you are, and allow you to toy with the Flash stuff so we can finally see some new features implemented here.
