All I'm saying is, it's unfair to feel like you have something legitimate to discuss (even if brought up in a sarcastic asshole kind of way) then sit there and think about how a couple people sitting at home might not like what I have to write. Perhaps they decide it's not 'suitable' for others to read. Apparently those people think the internet is a wonderful land full of gumdrops, kittens, and teddy bears. And I have to sit here, and edit my post, before I even post it to appeal to their sense of what is right, therbey giving up my own 'rights'.

In response to you saying it won't go anywhere. Awesome attitude. While I realize complaining about it on these forums won't do a damned thing, I feel it IS something people should at least recognize happens to them. And nothing will ever be done about it if people just shut their mouths and accept that we're being shafted our natural born rights.

And I find the way you write to be immature, arrogant, and sloppy. If you'd classify any of those three things as 'disrespectful and inappropriate' then I'd agree with 'pplz'.

Staff doesnt control, nor think they can control the internet. Anyone who thinks they can CONTROL the internet, needs to get help. All we do here is moderate/monitor the stuff that goes here.

If there's something you need to say, that isn't "suitable" for these forums, I'm pretty sure the internet is big enough for you to find somewhere that wouldn't mind having it.

Btw, this isnt an attack at you, so dont take any of that personal.

1st of all who ever doesn't think the internet is a wonderful land full of gumdrops, kittens, and teddy bears is dumb, because it is.

2nd forums are a privilege not a right, everyone has to abide by the rules written for each specific forum just as everyone has to abide by different rules, laws, and regulations in every aspect of life. Get used to it.

edit: also your line of thinking is absurd, you're basically saying it's ok to go anywhere and say anything we want is our right no matter how disrespectful vulgar etc. it may be. I don't even want to bother going any farther than that

I realize all of that. Been a Mod myself. I let everything slide, and stuck to keeping people on topic. I didn't give a damn how you presented your ideas (as long as it was coherent) I allowed it. Stray off topic? Post got deleted, not thread locked.

And I don't see how I could have taken any of that as a personal attack :/

Also... Again. Been a Mod. I know. I just feel like complaining, and needed a place to do it. I'm not really targetting this forum, or even the internet as a place of censorship... It's just the thing that got me thinking about the topic.

Bored minds will wander. I think mine's strayed a bit too far though. If something doesn't entertain it soon, I'm gonna lose it.

Honestly, I have like 2:3 ratio of threads locked to threads started. And I think I've started 6 threads. I've kinda given up hope that I can ever have any fun in the Forums for any length of time, which is the main reason I stayed away from them. But now..
