I can't believe this, I thought WaMu was doing great with their free checking and everything like that.

Do you think that maybe people won't be able to get their money out if it fails too much?

No 4srs those WaMu folks are gonna have a hard time. Even though no one should ever trust some random bank like that, it's gonna suck that all they're money is gonna be gone.

My family had $61.92 in an account at the local WaMu.
I guess we're gonna be living in the streets from now on...

I'm not saying I'm worried about the economy, I'm actually not. Although my parents are just constantly reminding me about it, I really don't think it can get much worse than this.

And if Obama becomes president, he has a set withdrawal date for Iraq, and we'll be able to spend more money.

Did you know we spend an average of $1.9 billion a day in Iraq? Screw Iraq, we have better things to worry about, like nuclear weapons in North Korea and Afghanistan.

We've let down our cover too much.

The American Economy is in a terrible state as of right now. My opinion is to honestly get all of your money out of the bank, cash out on all of your stock and funds.
Then, move to Canada.
Then, invest half of it into GE stocks.
You will make a lot of money, and be in a better economical area.

That's exactly what we need to do.

Anyways, I have a feeling that it's going to get worse before it gets better. I think we're going to see more financial institutions fail, and not just in the United States, but across the world.

Also, I get the feeling that we're gonna be enlightened to all of the greed that has been going on under our noses here in the near future...just an inkling.

No - it's that if we stop spending money we don't have, we won't get a surplus of it, because it doesn't exist.
