Don't dwell on the past, folks.

Do you get all somber every December 7th? Do you have to stop what you're thinking about and grief over the what happened August 6th or 9th? Do you know how many lost their lives in those events compared to the amount who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001?

Yes, it was a tragedy, but that doesn't mean you should keep thinking about. Learn from it and move on. Especially so many years after it happened. It's a little different if you were directly affected by it, but most people were not, and even those who were should still be moving on also. It's been 7 years.

i was in china town for the whole night,

then watched the morning news the next day and found out
Uh... it happened in the morning of the 11th. Were you out all day the 11th and didn't hear about it until the morning of the 12th? Because I was definitely in school when it happened and we were watching the news almost immediately. I don't know how someone could be "out" and not hear about it along the way.

I was in school it was 5th grade, my teacher was Miss Pananos, I remember that day well. As do all of those who lived during that time. As the planes hit those buildings, taking the lives of countless citizens. It burned the memories of that day, into all of us in there fiery explosions.

Yeah it happened late at night Australian time. I remember staying up really late in absolute disbelief at what was occuring in front of my eyes. Unforgettable day, lest we forget the victims.

I was eight years old when that happened.
I actually didn't realize anything had happened until about two weeks later when I asked my stepdad why all the changeable signs in town said "God Bless America".
                        Heh. >_<

I flew to NYC, and went where the tower once stood. There was a pretty big whole in it's place. I took a picture.

My mom came into my bedroom...
"Happy birthday, Emily!" and she turned on the TV.
It was about 6:30am PST. I was like 6-7.
Twin towers falling, on fire, boom crash explosion.
Death, loved ones, dying, trapped in a building on fire, some felt the flames, some otherwise.
Some call it an act of terrorism, others in the conspiracy say the government had something to do with it.
Either way, thousands died, on the day that I was born, not just normally, but were murdered in some sort of attack.

It was a horrible day, and it's still hard for me to celebrate my birthday.
