You register an account, and then you can either send money from your credit card directly to someone else's paypal account, or you can tie a bank account into your paypal account, transfer money from the bank to the paypal, and then from the paypal to anybody else with paypal.

If I only had money. I still have to write two essays for History, along with reading 5 chapters from the book and doing a worksheet for each chapter.

School starts for me on the 25th, and I've done no work at all. Procrastination ftw!

In 20 years of formal education I've never once had a single summer assignment, a single piece of summer reading, or really anything whatsoever connected to school to do during the summer ever.

Is this a US thing? Everyone keeps talking about summer schoolwork, are you actually in "Summer School"? Or is this just a standard part of your education?

duder that's my weekend only wear now. my high school has super strict dress codes. tucked in collared shirt with no logos or anything and dress pants with a leather belt. plus dress shoes and matching socks.

Devonin, some schools have you do work over the summer here. most have you read stuff. i have to read 3 books and write an essay using facts from all of them. otherwise, they might have summer assignments because they really screwed up a class during the year.

They give you assignments for to do over the summer because they think it'll help speed up the first few weeks of learning or some BS. I think it's just to make sure you know all you need to know for the stuff they teach you throughout the school year and they don't have to waste time during classes explaining stuff when they can just make you learn it over the summer.

Summer homework is part of our education. It is mandatory, and in my case, is handed in on the first day of school the succeeding school year. Japan involves writing papers, doing many worksheets, and doing free-research assignments. NY involves historical research papers, and reading novels.

Summer school is different, an unnecessary form of summertime education only mandatory for the people who failed any course (year-wise). I never had to go to one, so I don't know what it is content-wise either.

No, it's not summer school. The reading is supposed to help you out in the actual course, but that never really happens (for me, at least)

Sometimes you have work to do like packets to help you review. I guess it kinda helps, unless you're part of the 70% of my school that either doesn't do the packet, or copies all/most of the answers from the people that did do the work. =/
