FFR (The Game) Isn't Fun Anymore

As I said in the title, the FFR R1 game isn't that fun anymore. Do you know how if you do something repetitive over and over, it gets really boring? Well, I got really bored of pressing arrow keys over and over, and so I don't play the actual game anymore. I still gamble and chat in the forums, but that's it. You know how on the front page, it says, "Whether you've come for the games, the music, or the community, you've come to the right place." Well, I only come here for the community (and maybe the music).

I bet people here think I'm crazy, but I have better things to do, like most other people.

Does anyone else here think that this game gets boring sometimes? (I mean really, really boring)

I once was an addict. Look at me now: I can't help but agree with you. It's not the game that gets on my nerves, it's the time you 'waste' to get a score for people to recognize greatness. And time isn't always on people's side most of the time, especially when people move on with a new better life.

Community and music is the only thing I'll ever enjoy for the rest of my FFR career. I may still keep my subscription though, but the Beta sucks even more ass.

For once I agree with you. Right now I don't even play much anymore, and if I do, I only play to get new songs/tokens and test them out, but even that I gave up on almost entirely.

Maybe if I get a subscription I'll play again, but I'll try to get one without my parents bitching about paying over the internet (they trust anything over the internet, except Xbox Live).

Wrong. I consider myself pretty good at this game and it's just no fun anymore.
That's why usually just post around the forums or play newly added songs.
and I agree with npv, I play SM now. Playing SM then FFR and switching back and forth ****s up your timing.

honestly, i have never gotten tired of playing this game.

Until i AAA all the songs and cant improve, then it might get boring. But im constantly improving and getting better so if anything, FFR is become more fun to play.

That's why you go to stepmania to make things fresher for yourself.

Or step your own songs to make it the way you want it to be.

That and you don't have to worry about it getting rejected. All you have to do is put it in the DB. Or, by chances, in a pack somewhere.

I agree 100%. Started playing 1.5 years ago and never have even thought of stopping once. Now that I'm good it's fun to challenge myself for a better scores on harder songs. Not just to impress the community but to make personal achievements as well.

Also, the only thing that really keeps me playing are tournaments and new song releases.

The only reason I say most of us are bored of this game is that there has NOT BEEN AN UPDATE WORTH MENTIONING since AV-Miss-Fix. I'd say subscribers deserve feature pumps at least once every one or two weeks. D: Forget updates to the forum and such, I though summer was an update filled, event packed month. :S
