    My Lovely Videocard

At the moment, I am having trouble with my videocard.
I am unable to play Stepmania, or to use Windows Media Center Live TV.

I have just been playing FFR and recently I have been experiencing alot of 'Lag'
Just wondering, -as it started to get worse as my video card konked out-
Could this Lag be to do with my video card?

Lag most likely has to do with slow internet connection or to much applications running in the background. Or it could be your video card, like you suggested but I would doubt that it would be too bad for a flash game.

So that's why your PA never gets better and you still blackflag stuff.

If you're using anything older than a GeForce 4, then it's time to upgrade.
If you're a hardcore gamer and/or heavy computer user, and you use anything older than a GeForce 6, then it's time to upgrade.

If the above do not apply to you, then like CBR said, it's likely your internet.

Do I have to upgrade hardware?
Because I've been having trouble with my Videocard drivers too.
I'm not aware of the full extent of the problem. Lol.

If you're going to upgrade your upgrade your video card, you may have to upgrade your motherboard. I know on this old rig, I wanted a GeForce 7700, but had to settle for a 6200 because my motherboard couldn't support anything higher than a GeForce 6 series, and I didn't have the money or time to upgrade both my motherboard and video card. Eventually, I just bought a new computer, I plan on setting it up sometime later this month.

                            Woah.
                            Ok then.
I can see that being quite complicated. =/
You can hire people to fix those in properly can't you?
But say if I have an older computer that works good, could I swap the motherboards around?
                            Just to be a cheapskate.

Well, if it's older, it probably would provide less performance, i.e., more lag. But, if you're having serious issues using your computer because of it, then I guess the idea is practical.

                              Yes. There are plenty of places to call or go to for tech support, and they would probably be a lot more knowledgeable than me. ^_^;;
