I play online on Pokerstars.com and use that as a "practice" for when I actually play for money. The more you play, the better you get.

I honestly have never played Poker, although I've been invited to at such things such as summer camp. I'm more of a BS and War kinda of card player, since I've played those for so long.

No not really. If he doesn't want to lose his money then he shouldn't bet it. Plus, its nothing really that big. Its not like its 30k or anything.

Rofl war? That game takes no skill, played when I was like 9. Over the past few months I've started playing but I'm not all that great yet. Just been playing with some friends and we're going to start using real cash soon but really, in your situation I would suggest to ask if he needs the money back? He might have a gambling problem.

ya it's only 35$ dollars when I go to the casino I only get discourage when I lose like 150$ but I won 3000$ once though

Its not like he is a bad player... maybe just a little over confident.

Edit: gambling on a next to minimum wage salary, 35 dollars is a pretty good chunk of change.
